Claiming or adding your business to Yelp is simple. The easiest way to get started is by visiting biz.yelp.com and do a search for your business. If your business has been listed you will be able to claim it by clicking on the red button.
After choosing to claim your business the process is quite simple. You will be taken to page to setup an account if one hasn’t been created yet.
The following steps will require you to enter the business phone number and then Yelp will dial the business to confirm ownership.
Voila, your listing has been claimed!
If your business is not currently listed you can scroll to the bottom of the results on biz.yelp.com and select “Add your business to Yelp” link.
After choosing to add a business to Yelp you will be taken to a registration screen for the business.
When entering your business information make sure that it matches the information on your website and other citations. Also, choose the most accurate category for your business. Yelp categories can be view here.
Congrats on claiming your business. Now you can respond to reviews, answer questions, update business information and add images. If you would like to do more with your profile you will want to think about upgrading your profile to an enhanced profile.
